Artisan Promotions, the largest producer of crafts festivals in New England, has relied on CM Communications since 1991 to handle the public relations for The Christmas Festival, an annual, three-day-long consumer exposition that draws over 40,000 to Boston's World Trade Center. As a media hook, we create and produce a Gingerbread House Competition to benefit local charities. Now in its 16th year, the event features chefs from the region's top restaurants, hotels, bakeries and culinary schools and has become a magnet for attracting pre-event print, radio and television coverage. The event is covered extensively by the entertainment media as part of a region-wide publicity campaign including placements in print and online calendar sections, radio interviews, TV segments and on-air ticket giveaways. Most recently, CM redesigned and relaunched the Festival’s website and instituted a social media marketing program, including Facebook advertising. We continue to manage all email communications, targeting a database of over 20,000 consumers.
