As Les Zygomates, Boston’s Iconic French Bistro enters the quarter century mark, owner Mark Tosi combines the old with the new to create an exciting atmosphere of wine tastings, small plate dining, and live entertainment.

Kicking off with a preview event open to the public on Tuesday, August 7 from 6-7pm, celebrated sommelier, wine aficionado (and former Les Zygomates owner) Lorenzo Savona will host Tuesday wine tastings showcasing wines that Parisians like to drink such as wine from the Loire Valley, Beaujolais, Jura, Burgundy and Bordeaux.  All tastings will be paired with small bites from the kitchen of Chef Guara Pimenta, Executive Chef of Les Zygomates.  $35 per guest. Savona’s background in food and wine ranges from retail wine sales to work as an importer, wine director, and restaurateur, including founding Boston’s Les Zygomates Wine Bar & Bistro and co-founding Tomasso Trattoria in Southborough. He was named Boston’s best sommelier by Food & Wine, and his discerning palate and creative energy have earned accolades from Wine Spectator and Gourmet magazines, among others.

It goes without saying that the Steak Frites and French Onion soup are to die for at Zyg’s. Now, Executive Chef Guara Pimenta (Restaurant L, Blue Ox, Ambrosia) has introduced small plates that offer enticing options for those who enjoy the variety and party-like experience of sharing delicious dishes among friends.  New small plates include:
