Boston, MA (June 12, 2017) – City Winery Boston, slated to open at One Canal Street, announces its opening concert schedule. The highly anticipated debut of this intimate column-free 300-seat state-of-the-art concert venue, working urban winery, restaurant, and private event space, will open for live music on Sept. 17th with an incredible roster of acts including the first 30 artists announced today including Shawn Colvin, Art Garfunkel, The Weepies, Rufus Wainwright, Frank Turner and more.  Tickets will be available for City Winery’s VinoFile™ members on June 20th, three weeks before going on sale to the public on July 13th.  Many shows are expected to sell out prior to full public release.  To purchase a VinoFile™ membership and buy tickets visit CityWinery.com.

City Winery features a separate 100-seat restaurant, a 40-70 seat private dining room, a main performance venue, seating 300 guests at tables with full dining and beverage service; a smaller room showcasing singer songwriters and comedians; and an adjacent working winery separated by glass walls visible to restaurant and concert patrons.  Equipped with a state-of-the-art Meyer Sound system, City Winery offers an unparalleled level of intimacy where the artist and guests connect on a level not frequently found elsewhere.  Guests are encouraged to arrive when doors open at 6pm and enjoy world-class wine and food throughout the performance. Most shows begin at 8pm.  

City Winery presents approximately 300 shows per year and features national and international touring artists in pop, rock, jazz, blues, and world music, as well as hosting and supporting local artists. Celebrated performers ranging from the late Prince to Lucinda Williams to Steve Earle and Suzanne Vega have taken the City Winery stage. City Winery is located in Boston, New York, Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta and will be opening later this year in Washington D.C.

City Winery invites individuals and companies to become a VinoFile™ member. For a small $85 annual fee, wine club memberships of various levels are offered and provide perks such as buying tickets with 48-hour advance notice (except for grand opening period with 3-week extended window) and no ticket fees.
